Your stars

Why is my star dim?
Brightness reflects recent tending. A star dims when days pass untended — it is never destroyed, and there is no streak to lose. Tend it again and it re-brightens.

Why hasn't my star evolved?
Evolution counts the days you have actually tended, not calendar time. A weekly habit walks the same road as a daily one — it just takes longer. Missing days never moves a star backward; the stage it has reached is permanent.

What's the difference between an orbit and a season?
An orbit is open-ended. A season is a deliberate 30, 60, or 90-day arc you choose when creating the habit — the practice completes when the season ends.

What does pausing a habit do?
A paused habit sits out quietly: no reminders, no dimming, no pressure. Resume whenever you're ready.

How many habits can I create?
The free sky holds five building habits — enough for a full practice. The supporter unlock opens unlimited stars. Habits you're breaking are always free to create, no matter how many stars you hold, and everything you already have keeps working forever.

Tending together

How do I share a habit with someone?
Open the habit and use beacon to invite them. Only the person sending the invitation needs to be a supporter — accepting is always free.

Why can't I change our shared habit's name or rhythm?
On a shared habit, the name and cadence belong to whoever created it, so one member can't change the constellation for everyone. Ask the creator to make the change.

What is a pulse?
A pulse is a small, anonymous gesture of solidarity sent into the sky — it lands on someone who also tends. There is no message attached, no reply expected, and you cannot choose the recipient. A pulse landing on your star means someone out there is tending alongside you.

What does "be discoverable" mean?
Off by default. When you turn it on for a habit, others may find your star as an anonymous light — never your name, your habit list, or any other detail. Turn it off any time and that practice is entirely private again.

How do named companions happen?
When two people exchange pulses over a sustained stretch, each may choose to be seen. Both must choose — neither is ever revealed without the other's consent.

The almanac

Why do some charts say they're still forming?
The observatory charts wait for enough real data to be honest — about 30 tendings across at least two weeks. Each forming chart shows how far along you are.

Are my mood readings private?
Yes. Mood readings are visible only to you. They are never shown to partners, never part of discovery, and they are deleted with your account.

Where are my noticings (journal entries) stored?
On your device. Journal entries are not uploaded to our servers — they are yours alone.

Reminders

Push notifications aren't working.
Check Settings → Notifications on your device and ensure Sideria has permission. Each habit's reminder is set from its detail sheet — the app may also suggest a time based on when you usually tend.

Account & data

How do I reset my password?
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen.

I started as a guest — can I keep my sky if I create an account?
Yes. Settings → your account → create account. Your stars and history come with you.

How do I restore my supporter purchase?
Purchases follow your Apple ID. Open the supporter sheet in Settings and use Restore Purchases — or sign in on your new device and it restores automatically.

How do I export my data?
Settings → Export Data → choose JSON or CSV.

How do I delete my account?
Settings → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account. This is immediate and irreversible.
